I have let the brave girls at Väsby Riding school reshape my memories from the time when I was a young stable girl. The age when I was becoming independent and grew so much as a person. Even though this could be the story about almost any stable girl in Sweden, I present it as a self portrait.
The images are printed on akvarell paper to get a sooty and rough feeling. 30cm*45cm and 50cm*70cm. Small prints in an edition of ten, larger prints edition of five. The exhibition is 25 images, with glass and black frame. The book contains 38 images and an essay by Moa Matthis. The form is made by award winning Greger Ulf Nilsson. |
